Pata is one of X's guitarists. Ive stopped using the term lead guitarist and rhythm guitarist since I found out that sometimes Pata played as the lead guitarist too. We can say that he's the quietest member of X Japan. Almost always have a bottle of Jack Daniels with him and seldom seen talking. Pata has a i-dont-care-about-anything look which is really quite cute ^^. He's a great guitarist, oh yes he is. I heard that for Silent Jealousy, both guitar parts, his and hide's, are played by him because hide was quite busy with something else. Not sure whether this is true though, anyone out there knows about this?

What do the other members think of Pata? From the interview in 1991 while Taiji was around, other members think that Pata is the 'lazy' one, lol.. In fact Yoshiki said that 'If you let him sit in the corner, he'll sit there forever' haha! Don't get me wrong, Pata is still an important member in the band, yes he is. So what does he think of the rest of the member? Pata said that hide was like the mother of X while Yoshiki was like a rowdy son. Heath was of course the younger rowdy son *lol* and Toshi was like a relative *?* while he himself was like grandpa. Quite suitable, eh? *laughs*

After X Japans disbandment, Pata had quite a few projects. He often appeared together with hide and Spread Beaver as a guest guitarist. In fact he was in several hides concerts too. Later on he was in Dope Headz together with Heath, produced some great songs, that band. I dont know what happen to Dope Headz but I know that now he's on the band ra:In, Rock and Inspiration. If my memory serves me right, a few years ago, Pata got married. Yeah, I think it was last year. Go go go, Pata! ^__^
